Hello!

Today I prepared a blog post showing all the products I bought recently in our drugstores, that would mean Drogerie Markt and Muller. Last Thursday, on May 5th, I was celebrating my 24th birthday and my girlfriends got me some really lovely presents, they know me so well! Thank you, my loves! You will see the gifts in this post, too. :) Thank you for reading!

Let's start with the products I bought myself:

GARNIER ULTRA DOUX MARVELLOUS maska za suhe lase z arganovim oljem in oljem kamelije: masko sem do sedaj preizkusila samo trikrat, zato težko podam zelo podrobno mnenje. Definitivno naredi lase gladke, vendar brez posebnega in dlje trajajočega učinka.

GARNIER ULTRA DOUX MARVELLOUS MASK for dry hair with argan and camelia oil: until today I used it only three times, so I can't give a proper review yet. It definitely makes your hair smooth, but that's about it. I need some deeper conditioning for the ends of my hair, and I don't think this mask provides that. It is an average hair mask and it didn't impress me much. Price is around 5€ in Muller for 300ml

GARNIER FRUCTIS MIRACULOUS OIL brushing express with argan oil: they claim that this oil shortens the hair drying time, gives heat protection and gives shine and softness to the hair. I can't agree with the claim about hair drying time, because I noticed no difference. I like that it gives heat protection, so I don't have to use another product for that. It makes my hair really soft and it smells really nice, it also helps with detangling. Unlike the mask, this oil really impressed me and I am sure I will buy it again. Price: I am sorry but I can't think of the exact price, but I will say it was around 7€ in Drogerie Markt

BALEA body milk for dry skin: this feels  kinda oily and heavy on the skin, because it needs a really long time to sink in. I only use it after shaving, so it hydrates my skin really well. It bothers me that it takes so long to sink into the skin and this is definitely not appropriate for summer. Maybe I will buy it again next winter, if I use it until then, because the packaging is huge. Price: around 2€ for 500ml

Cena: 2,2€

DOVE NUTRIUM MOISTURE oil shower gel with jasmine and honey scent: I love it! This is my first Dove shower gel and I am seriously asking myself why did it take me so long to try one. The oil in it hydrates the skin wonderfully, makes is silky soft and smooth. I almost don't feel the need to use body lotion after this one. Price: 2,2€

BALEA OIL MAKEUP REMOVER for eyes: there's not much to add to this, I always have one of these in my bathroom. Usually I use Balea's oil makeup remover, but sometimes I still rather use this one, specially if I have a lot of makeup on. For a low price it is really effective, it even removes waterproof eyeliner with no problem. Price: 1,79€ for 100ml

BALEA CREME PEELING with apricot seed: I have yet to try this one. I bought it, because my regular face scrub was out of stock. I am expecting to like it, because I read quite a few positive reviews. Price: 1,99€ for 75ml

I bought two nail polishes, the first one is Essence Colour & Care in the shade 02 I care for you, it's a classic nude pink. The other one is Catrice 107 Robinson Coralsoe in a stunning coral pink shade, perfect for spring and summer. I believe this shade is one of the newest added to their range.

CATRICE NUDE ILLUSION podlaga soft focus effect v odtenku 010 nude ivory: moj najljubši Catrice puder. Cena: 7,69€

CATRICE NUDE ILLUSION makeup soft focus effect in shade 010 nude ivory: this is my favorite Catrice foundation. I like it, because I find it suits my dry skin well and the finish on the skin is really longlasting and luminous matte, just liike they promise. The shade range is poor and I believe many girls could find it difficult to find a perfect shade. This one isn't perfect on me, but I make it work in combination with a lighter concealer. Price: 7,69€

ESSENCE I LIKE LONG LASHES! volume & length maskara: veliko Essence maskar sem že preizkusila, pa mi niso bile najbolj všeč.

ESSENCE I LIKE LONG LASHES! volume & length mascara: I bought many Essence mascaras in the past years and I didn't like them. I would never buy this one by myself, I got a recommendation from a friend and I am glad I trusted her. The price is really low (2€) and it works really well with separating and lengthening eyelashes. I am planning a review specially for this one, so I can show you some pictures how it performs.

ESSENCE 2 IN 1 EYESHADOW & LINER v odtenku 06 she's got the mauve: čudovit jumbo svinčnik, ki ga uporabljam vsak dan, odkar sem ga kupila. Cena: 2,99€

ESSENCE 2 IN 1 EYESHADOW & LINER in the shade 06 she's got the mauve: this is a wonderful jumbo eye pencil, and I've been using it everyday since I bought it. The shade looks great on it's own or in combination with eyeshadows. It truly is waterproof and when set with powder shadows on top, they last for the whole day and even night, if they have to. I highly recommend these! I know there's other beauty bloggers that love these, too. I know I will pick another shade or two for me, when I get the chance. Price: 2,99€

CATRICE ULTIMATE STAY šminka v odtenku 020 all that she wants: že nekaj časa sem si ogledovala to šminko in zdaj sem se končno odločila, da si jo privoščim. Cena: 5,29€

CATRICE ULTIMATE STAY lipstick in shade 020 all that she wants: I wanted this for quite some time and now I finally decided to treat myself and I bought it. This lipstick line is my favorite from the drugstore and I have quite a few shades in my collection. I want more, though! I love them because they last really well on me, the shades are beautiful and I also love this elegant packaging.

Price: 5,29€

Sedaj pa si poglejmo še rojstnodnevna darilca. Ta bom samo naštela, ker nisem preizkusila še ničesar.

And now let's take a look at my birthday gifts. These will be without reviews, because I haven't tried anything yet.

Hello dear readers,

I am sorry for this 10 day absence, my schedule was a mess. It will all get better now.

Thanks for your patience!

Today I would like to write a little something about my favorite products for summer, which will be a definite must-have for me in the upcoming months, and some of them already are. And a big plus, they all cost less than 5€! :)

1. DOVE SUNSHINE LOTION GRADUAL TANNER

I believe this is called 'Summer glow' in other countries. My skin is very pale and in the summer I don't feel comfortable showing my arms and legs. Plus, all my clothes are black, so you can get the idea: I literally look like a ghost going to a funeral every day. Not the cutest thing, let me tell you than. I am afraid of going to a tanning bed, because I believe it is much more harmful than using a little tanning lotion.

I discovered this lotion a few years ago via Anna Saccone on Youtube, she swears by it. I bought it in Muller for the first time about three years ago and since then it is my staple in the summer. Easy to use, you can't really screw it up just as long as you exfoliate, doesn't smell artificial (I actually like the scent), gives you such a pretty natural tan, I have never looked orange with it. You can use it a few nights in a row if you want a darker tan - since it is gradual.

I tried other drugstore gradual tanner, but I had some bad experience (orange and streaky skin, no bueno). I swear by this.

If you are into easy tanning, give this a try!

Price: 3,95€ in Muller

2. BALEA AQUA MOISTURIZING SERUM

I am sure you heard of this before (even I mentioned it a couple of times). If you ask me, this is the perfect summer face moisturizer for normal/dry/combination skin - such a lightweight and refreshing formula, but very moisturizing at the same time. I use this under foundation and it works fantastic.

Price: around 3€ in DM

3. ALVERDE FIXING SPRAY

I bought this because the price was so low, and I have never before tried a makeup fixing spray. I didn't even know what to expect. It turned out very nice and I would miss it if someone would take it away from me now. I will be using it all summer. I like how refreshing it feels when you spray it on your face. Maybe it's just my imagination, but I honestly think my makeup lasts longer when I use this. I can tell this the best after wearing makeup for 12+ hours, when my bronzer is still visible and my foundation looks very decent - no separation.

Price: around 3€ in DM

4. ESSENCE ALL ABOUT MATT! OIL CONTROL PAPER

Another must have! If you get oily in the t-zone after a couple of hours after applying makeup, this will be perfect for you. Some people fix that with adding some more powder, but my personal opinion is that this is nothing but caking it up and making it even worse. So I use these. Thin sheets of paper, that absorb all that oil of your face, and you are left with matified skin and your foundation still looks nice, they don't disturb it. I highly recommend these!

Price: around 2-3€ at every Essence stand

5. MAYBELLINE BABY LIPS ELECTRO

Sometimes you don't want to wear a heavy makeup during summer, all you want is a BB cream, some mascara and a pop of color on your lips. This is perfect for those days! At the same time it is moisturizing but also giving you the perfect summer vibrant color. I have the shade 'Strike a rose', and this is a very buildable color.

Price: around 2-3€ in DM and Muller

So these are my summer picks! What do you think, would any of these products interest you to try it? Tell me your favorites and suggestions. :)

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it!

BODY PRODUCTS

BALEA BODY BALSAM SENSITIVE - whoever said that this is a 'balsam' did not lie. It really is - the consistency was very runny. It felt refreshing and very nice on the skin, it sank in fast. In a long term it did nothing to make my skin more hydrated and that is the reason I would not purchase it again.

SILISS SHAVING GEL - this is a Leclerc brand. I love this! Will definitely repurchase. Smells really nice, like peaches, is cheap and works just as great as Balea shaving gels. Basically, I can't tell a difference between these two.

ESSENCE NAIL POLISH REMOVER - simple: cheap and good. Will always repurchase.

REXONA SHOWER FRESH DEODORANT - I was quite surprised how good this was. Rexona is my go-to for deodorant. This 'shower fresh' scent is very refreshing. It also feels really gentle on the skin. Already repurchased, just in another scent and I am loving this one, too.

ALVERDE CELLULITE BODY OIL - I use this after I dry brush any problem areas I have. I love the fresh scent (lemon & rosemary). If you use it regularly you can tell the difference in tightness of your skin. Already repurchased.

AVON SENSES SENSUAL MYSTIQUE SHOWER GEL EXOTIC ROSE & JASMINE - this is a giant (500ml) packaging and it took me forever to finish it. It has the richest and the creamiest formula, making your skin soft and lovely. The scent lingers on skin for a while. The only problem was that the scent was quite strong and I got tired of it soon, so I will not purchase it again. I would, in another scent, yes.

NIVEA CREME PEELING SHOWER & SCRUB - I loved this! You can use it as a shower peeling, because it is gentle enough. But it also works well as a peeling, it helped with removing fake tan well. The scent is fresh and divine. I would repurchase, someday, but ATM I am using Rub rub rub from Lush and I like it very much.

BALEA MAGIC WINTER SHOWER GEL - this was so average. Since it is a 'winter edition', I expected much more moisture and nourishment from it, but I got none. All it did was smell nice, like flowers. Would not repurchase.

FACE PRODUCTS

VEET WAX STRIPS FOR FACIAL HAIR - I always use this every 6 - 8 weeks to remove any upper lip hair. Embarrassing, I know, but that life. You can't even imagine how better foundation looks on a totally smooth skin. I always use these, because they do a great job. And no, it's not painful. A box costs about 5€ and lasts me for almost a year. Totally worth it. I tried other brands in the past, none came even close to Veet.

INELL MICELLAR SOLUTION - the best and cheapest way to remove any makeup. Already repurchased.

BALEA FACE WASH FOAM - this is great! So soft any fun to use (since it makes a foam). I have super dry skin and this works great, did not dry me out. I use this after micellar water or cleansing oil, to make my face extra clean. I already repurchased.

AVON SOLUTIONS WINTER DAY & NIGHT FACE MOISTURIZERS - I loved these two. Used them all through winter and they kept my extremely dry skin nice any hydrated. They were a limited winter edition, but I would buy them again next winter.

HAIR PRODUCTS

DOVE OIL CARE 1 MINUTE HAIR TREATMENT - this was a decent conditioner. Many bloggers love this so I gave it a try too. It worked ok, but I didn't notice any drastic changes. Currently I am using a similar product from Gliss kur and it works just as great. I would repurchase this one.

L'OREAL ELVITAL MAGIC HAIR OIL - what can I say... this was a total 'meh' product. It took ages to use it all, but I am not really sure it did anything for me! Maybe they were a little softer, but that's all. I was disappointed, would not buy again and do not recommend it.

SYOSS VOLUME DRY SHAMPOO - I liked this! I already purchased the anti-grease version, but I think I prefer this one more. I would love to try Batiste dry shampoo, to see what all the rage is about.

MAKEUP & NAILS

CATRICE NUDE ILLUSION FOUNDATION - a nice foundation, working well with my skin type. I really like it's luminous matte finish. Currently I am using Healthy mix from Bourjois, but I would repurchase this again in future.

ESSENCE LIQUID INK EYELINER - I don't have much experience with liquid liners and I don't use them often, but I like this one and it suits my need. I like the applicator and the fact that it is very black. Already repurchased.

CATRICE CONCEALER - I don't even know how this one is called, every detail is rubbed off. It was quite thick and it creased under my eyes after a few hours, so I would not repurchase it again. Currently I am using another Catrice highlighting concealer and I like it a lot, so I will probably keep on using it.

ESSENCE BETTER THAN GEL NAILS HIGH GLOSS TOP SEALER - my favorite top coat. Gives intense shine, protects colored nail polish and makes your manicure last longer. Already repurchased. Highly recommend!

ESSENCE EXPRESS DRY DROPS - I have been using these for years. I tend to reach for them, when I paint my nails at night, to make sure they dry before I go to bed. Already repurchased.

CATRICE ULTIMATE LAST MULTIMIZER MASCARA - I liked this one. Did not give much volume, but it is good for separating lashes. I am not sure if I would repurchase it, because there are so many other mascaras I want to try.

L'OREAL MISS MANGA MASCARA - almost everyone hates this mascara, but it worked well for me. It wasn't spectacular, but it was black and volumizing and that OK for me. Would I repurchase? Maybe. One day.

And that's it! Question of the day: have you tried any of these products and have they worked well for you? Let me know!

Thanks for reading!

Let me start with this sentence: This is the best hand cream I have ever tried. No joke. I swear.

It is not a secret how good Dove shower gels and body lotions are. This is just about the same. I really needed a new hand cream and this one caught my attention.

Let me tell you, I am not one for vanilla scents. But when I checked the scent on this one, I loved it immediately. It is a very pleasant and warm scent, perfect for winter, for summer maybe not so much.

When applied, this cream sinks into the skin in literally seconds. It is so easy to apply, and after about 2 minutes the sticky feeling is gone - you are left with gorgeous soft hands. I love to use it at work, because it doesn't make my hands greasy and it doesn't bother me while touching anything (I work in a chocolate shop - so nice hands are a must). I also use it every night before I go to sleep.

I can't tell enough good things about this product. If you want to treat yourself with a nice hand cream for everyday (costs 2,7€), I suggest you give this one a try!

Have a nice day.

Linda
