If you are interested in what I bought for myself (a few presents, a few necessities) this December, keep on reading! :)
I went shopping in DM and Muller.

BODY PRODUCTS

BALEA MAGISCHER WINTER (Magic winter) shower gel and body lotion LIMITED EDITION

I wanted to buy the Dove winter set, I already had it in my hands, but than this stole my heart - not only it was about 3€ cheaper, it also smells really good and flowery. I am not really sure if it has any special moisturizing effects, which is a little disappointing since it is supposed to be winter care.

ALVERDE CELLULITE LEMON ROSEMARY BODY OIL

This is my fourth bottle, I believe. It smells divine! It can be used as a moisturizing oil, or as a anti cellulite treatment - I tested it both ways, and it works. It is a must have for me and a holy grail product. It really helps against cellulite, if you use it consistently and really massage it into your skin.

HAIR PRODUCTS

PALETTE PERFECT GLOSS HAIR COLOR in Dark cherry

I already used this a few days ago and so far I am impressed. It had a really nice smell during application and it did not make my scalp itch. It also did not leave huge red stains on my skin, which can happen when you are working with such shades. My hair is a really nice dark red color now.

SYOSS VOLUME LIFT DRY SHAMPOO

I just needed a new dry shampoo and they didn't have my regular Balea one. I hope this one will work at least 'ok', I am not expecting too much because I don't want to be disappointed.

GLISS LIQUID SILK LEAVE IN CONDITIONER

This is a life saver for me. Often I am really lazy when it comes to washing my hair and I don't want to wait those few minutes for my conditioner to do its magic, ha ha, plus, since my hair is red, the less they are under water, the better. So often I just use a shampoo, than spray some leave in conditioner, apply oil on my ends and my hair is shiny and silky and happy.

BALEA BEAUTIFUL LONG SHAMPOO

This is a repurchase. I saw it on the shelves, and I grabbed it, because I had no idea what other shampoo to buy. This costs around 2€, leaves hair nice and soft and clean, nothing too complicated.

BALEA TREND IT UP HAIR SPRAY

This will be my first time trying it, so I can't say much yet. It promises to give a really long lasting effect.

SKIN PRODUCTS AND RANDOM

ESSENCE NAIL POLISH REMOVER

A typical cheap nail polish remover that does its job and actually smells nice!

REXONA INVISIBLE DIAMOND DEODORANT

Rexona is my favorite brand of deodorant. I have never before used one that is supposed to be invisible (white marks) so I am looking forward to see if it really performs better than regular deodorant in that matter.

BALEA FACE WASH FOAM for normal and mixed skin

Another holy grail product. I don't think I will ever use any other face wash again. This is so soft and gentle on the skin, and does a great job cleaning all the residue makeup, it is not irritating and smells really nice plus it is fun to use - it is a liquid that turns into a foam when you pump it out. I have dry skin but this works really good for me.

BALEA CHERRY and BALEA INTENSIV for dry lips lip balm

Not the best. The cherry one has a horrible scent!! I do not recommend it. The Intensiv one is better, still has a funny plastic scent and keeps your lips moisturized only for a little while. Will not repurchase.

REMINGTON CURLING WAND

Just a week ago this was on my wish list. I got it for 50% off in DM (I paid 17€). I never used curling wands before, so I hope I will learn how to handle this one soon. Maybe I will post a hair picture someday.

GLADE BLACKBERRY FROST candle

I can honestly say, this is my favorite candle. I can't really describe the scent because I am not good at that, but it really does smell like blackberries and winter. I love it! I would honestly wear this scent as a perfume, if I could.

MAKE UP

CATRICE NUDE ILLUSION FOUNDATION and VELVET FINISH CONCEALER

The Nude illusion is my holy grail and a repurchase, and I believe all of you know this foundation already. The concealer is my first time trying it, and I think I find it just a little bit too liquidy, but the lightest shade is a great match for me, so I use it more as a brightener on my face.

CATRICE ABSOLUTE MATT eyeshadow palette

As you can see, I used this already! I love it. The shades are perfect for every day, quite well pigmented, the only bad thing is that I can notice some fall out with them and I wish the darkest shade was a little bit darker, but that is my personal preference. Otherwise, I highly recommend this palette - it is a great drugstore find and as I heard a possible dupe for the famous Urban decay shadows.

CATRICE DUO NAIL POLISHES

This package made me so happy (as much as nail polish can make you happy). These were 1 + 1 free and they are a perfect Christmas duo, red and golden glitter topcoat.

I also got the L'OREAL SILVER DISCO BALL top coat and I can honestly say this is the best silver glitter polish I ever tried - it provides a lot of glitter and coverage, which can not always be found with glitter top coats. You can see the look I did using this one here.

The last one is a pretty dark red polish called 'Burlesque red' by Deborah Milano. A few years ago this polish was already in my collection and I used it all up. I stumbled upon it 'by accident' and decided I want to have it again.

And the best for last.

I wanted a new perfume for about a month now, and since DM had a nice holiday deal with a lot of perfumes 35% off I told myself this is a great opportunity to (maybe) find one that I will like. It took about 15 minutes and a lot of testers, but than I found the one. This smells divine. It is a floral perfume, and even though it is called 'Night' the scent is not too strong. The only down side to it is, it doesn't hold the scent for a long time, but that was expected since it is eau d toilette and not eau de parfum. None the less, I am in love with it. I wish you could sniff it through the screen!

Gwen Stefani Holiday for OPI

So just recently OPI came out with a new holiday collection, in collaboration with Gwen Stefani. I saw all the beautiful nail polishes in the drugstore yesterday and wanted them all! My best friend said to me that I should pick one because she wants to buy it for me as a gift. I was so happy! It was a hard choice though, but in the end I chose the one looking the most appropriate for Christmas. :)

Včeraj sem v Mullerju opazila novo OPI kolekcijo, božično, s podpisom Gwen Stefani. Vsi laki so čudoviti! Moja najboljša prijateljica, ki je bila z mano, mi je rekla, naj si kar enega izberem. In kupila mi ga je za darilo, kako mi je polešala dan (teden)! Sicer sem zelo težko izbrala barvo, na koncu sem vzela tisto, ki se mi je zdela najbolj božična.

This nail polish is called RED FINGERS & MISTLETOES. What a cute name! The color was a total surprise and I still don't quite understand how it works! In the bottle it looks like a really pretty red/bronze/golden and it looks really unique. But when applied on the nails, all the gold disappears and it becomes just a beautiful shimmery red. It is a really pretty red, I just don't quite understand where did the gold go? Maybe it will be more visible in the sunlight. Other than that, it applies really nice and smooth, dries quickly - I applied two coats and no top coat on this picture.

Tale lak se imenuje RED FINGERS & MISTLETOES, luštno praznično ime. Sama barva laka je bila čisto presenečenje in še vedno ne razumem popolnoma kako točno deluje. V steklenički izgleda kot bronasto zlato rdeča, ko pa je na nohtih, pa se spremeni v lepo svetlečo rdečo. Seveda je zelo lepa rdeča barva, samo ne razumem najbolj, kam je izginil zlat odtenek. Mogoče bo na soncu bolj viden. Drugače pa se lak zelo lepo nanaša in hitro posuši - nanesla sem dva sloja brez nadlaka.

Between these two pictures you can see how different it can look when the light changes. On the second picture you can maybe spot just a liiiiiiitle gold - I wish there was more.

Na teh dveh slikah se dobro vidi razlika, kako lahko lak različno izgleda če se spremeni svetloba. Na drugi sliki se mogoče tudi čiiisto malo opazi zlata barva - želim si, da bi se bolj opazila.

Here you can see the other colors from the collection. My final words: I am really happy with this polish I got, even though it is a transformer, ha ha. I know I will get a lot of use out of it. Which color out of this collection would you like to try?

Longlasting drugstore lipstick

CATRICE is my favorite makeup brand, so far I have been pleased with all the products I tried. Recently I added one of their lip liners to my collection, and later realized, I chose a perfect color to match with one of the lipsticks I have already owned before. They are now my favorite duo for a darker pink lip look.

Poskusila sem že precej Catrice izdelkov, pa me še niso razočarali - ostaja moja najljubša znamka. Pred kratkim sem si kupila njihov svinčnik za ustnice, ker sem jih želela preizkusiti. Doma sem ugotovila, da sem izbrala popoln odtenek, ki se ujema z eno od šmink, ki sem jih že imela.

This is how they look together - a perfect dusty mauve pink. Tako kombinacija izgleda na ustnicah.

I am talking about the new ULTIMATE STAY LIPSTICK range - high quality drugstore lipsticks. Catrice really did a good job with them! I only tested one shade, but I fell in love with the smooth formula, very good opacity in one coat, sleek and 'fancy' packaging immediately. The shade I have is called 060 FLORAL CORAL. What about the lip liner? It is the ULTIMATE STAY LIP LINER in the shade 050 ROSY ROSE. It seems to me like they were meant for each other. :)

Oba, šminka in svinčnik, sta iz linije ULTIMATE STAY, in menim, da je ime kar pravilno. Obožujem formulo te šminke! Gladko se nanaša, pigmentirana je, pa še v privlačni embalaži je, ki deluje bolj 'fancy'. Šminka je v odtenku 060 Floral coral, svinčnik pa 050 Rosy Rose. Res se mi zdi, kot da sta ustvarjena en za drugega.


Excuse for the poor quality of this one

I have worn this combination for some time now and really tested how long lasting it is. The lip liner on the lips alone lasts longer than lipstick, but it can be drying and not so comfortable to wear for a long period of time. Lipstick alone is very smooth, not drying and very pigmented - on its own it lasts for about 3 hours (without eating anything greasy). But when you put on these two together, this is when the magic happens. If you won't eat anything, they can last up to 5 or 6 hours. I had Burger king the other day, and when I finished my meal, I still had lipstick on (about 5 hours after first application), it just looked more like a stain - still good until you have time to touch up.

Dobro sem stestirala kako obstojna je ta kombinacija. Svinčnik sam zdrži dlje kot če sem nosila samo šminko - vendar svinčnik lahko izsuši ustnice in čez čas ni več tako prijeten. Šminka sama po sebi je gladka in pigmentirana in ne izsuši - sama po sebi, če ne ješ kakšne mastne hrane, zdrži okrog tri ure. Ko pa uporabiš šminko in svinčnik skupaj, dobiš čudovito kombinacijo, ki traja tudi do 6 ur! Prejšnji teden sem jedla v Burger kingu, po končanem obroku (minilo je že 5 ur od nanosa šminke) sem še vedno imela barvo na ustnicah, samo bolj je izgledala kot 'stain'.

For the price you pay (together they cost about 8€) you get a really good quality and long lasting drugstore lipstick - this just proves how much drugstore makeup has evolved, it is only getting better and better.

Kombinacija teh dveh produktov je precej poceni (skupaj staneta okrog 8€) in kvalitetna. To je dober dokaz, kako so se razvila nižje cenovna ličila - kvaliteta je vedno boljša!

Empties and mini reviews #1

Hello ladies! First, let me apologize, I haven't posted a new blog post for a while now - I have been really busy and just couldn't find the time to take pictures. I promise I will get better and more organized in the future! :) Second, a new change on my blog. Since I have quite a few Slovenian followers, I decided all my posts will be written in English and in Slovene, from now on. To get to the point, today I will write about my first empties and add mini reviews to them, as it usual is with these poplar blog posts. Hope you like it!

Pozdravljene punce! Tiste, ki me že nekaj časa spremljate, veste, da pišem v angleščini. Odločila sem se, da bom začela pisati tudi v slovenščini, da vam malo olajšam branje. Moja današnja objava bo popularna 'empties' katere naslov pa se mi zdi nesmiselno prevajati v slovenščino, saj se sliši precej smešno, hehe. Pa tudi vem, da vse razumete kaj točno pomeni. Upam, da vam bo všeč!

HAIR PRODUCTS

SYOSS OLEO INTENSE hair color in Burgundy red: I only put one box in the picture, but really in the mean time I used 4. I color my hair every 4 to 5 weeks, it is a necessity if I want them to stay nice and red, not orange. I prefer to have a dark red, almost violet color, it works better for me because it doesn't wash out that easily. This one is one of my favorites, but it is not the best of the best - I still have to find that one. :)

Tudi če je na sliki samo ena škatla te barve, sem v teh treh mesecih porabila že štiri. Barvam se na 4 do 5 tednov, če hočem imeti lepo rdeče lase in ne oranžne. Ta barva mi je všeč, ker je zelo temna rdeča, skoraj vijola, in res dlje časa zdrži in se ne izpere. Ta je ena mojih najljubših, vendar še vedno iščem neko boljšo ki me bo popolnoma navdušila.

LOREAL ELVITAL COLOR GLANZ LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER. From time to time I decide it's time to buy a spray leave-in conditioner and when I do, I always buy this one. It smells nice, protects colored hair and doesn't make them any greasier as any other conditioner would. It's an average product for the price you pay (less than 4€ I belive).

Ko si zaželim balzama v spreju vedno kupim tega, ker me še nikoli ni razočaral. Je precej poceni, lepo diši, naredi mehke lase in jih ne zmasti preveč. Ni nič posebnega, vendar za to ceno najbrž eden boljših (veliko boljši od vseh Gliss Kur ki sem jih preizkusila).

AUSSIE LUSCIOUS LONG SHAMPOO. This was my first Aussie product I tried. I expected more. I still have to try the conditioner because I heard only good things about it. Otherwise, this shampoo smells really really nice and is in an interesting blue color! It makes your hair clean, sadly it doesn't leave the nice smell to them, but that's pretty much it. It doesn't make your hair silky smooth or crazy shiny, it really is just a regular shampoo. I will not repurchase it.

Ta šampon je prvi Aussie produkt ki sem ga preizkusila in žal me ni navdušil. Je lepe modre barve in lepo diši vendar ne pusti tega prijetnega vonja. Tudi ne naredi las mehkih ali svilnatih, je čisto povprečen šampon. Ne bom ga več kupila, bi pa preizkusila njihov balzam.

BODY PRODUCTS

BALEA SHAVING GEL. My favorite shaving gel. This one has a coconut smell which was really summer appropriate and nice. I will always repurchase these because they are so cheap and work like they are supposed to. This scent was limited edition, though.

Mislim, da vse poznate gele za britje od Balee. Preprosto so najboljši, pa še zelo poceni so. Tale z vonjem kokosa je bil poletne izdaje. Ni več kaj za dodati, drugega kot to, da je za nizko ceno zelo kvaliteten izdelek, ki ga toplo priporočam vsem.

BOROTALCO SHOWER GEL. I looove the scent of this shower gel - it smells like baby powder. I can say, it is one of my favorite shower gels I have ever tried. Smells good and makes your skin really soft and moisturized. I will repurchase it in the future, just not right now, because I have a few other showering products on my 'must-try' list.

Eden mojih najljubših gelov za tuširanje. Zelo lepo diši, po čistem in po otroškem pudru, naredi tvojo kožo mehko in navlaženo. Definitivno ga bom še kupila, vendar imam prej še par izdelkov ki bi jih rada preizkusila.

BALEA RASPBERRY SHIMMER SHOWER GEL. This was a really pretty product, pink and shimmery and had a really nice raspberry scent. Sadly it was not moisturizing at all. I would say it was average, I would not repurchase it, but it was limited edition anyway. Balea can make some really good shower gels, I tried much better in the past.

Tale gel za tuširanje je izgledal veliko lepše kot pa se je dejansko 'obnašal'. Bil je roza barve z bleščicami, zelo lepo dišal po malinah vendar žal kože ni čisto nič navlažil. Preizkusila sem že veliko kvalitetnejših gelov od Balee. Bil je omejena izdaja, pa tudi če ne bi bil, ga ne bi več kupila.

SKIN PRODUCTS

BALEA BODY CREME WITH SHEA BUTTER AND ARGAN OIL. This was great and the packaging is huge so it lasted me for months! A really nice and moisturizing body creme, made my skin feel really soft and smooth and smells really nice. It was specially nice after shaving, because it has a soothing effect. It was really cheap (under 3€), too, so for the price you get a lot ( size and quality). I would repurchase it, but I want to try some other products first. ;)

Tale losjon oz. krema za telo s karitejevim maslom in arganovim oljem je eden boljših Baleinih produktov. Kožo naredi mehko, navlaženo, hitro se vpije, pomirja po britju in še prijetno diši. Ima tak jesensko zimski vonj. Pa še zelo poceni je za ogromno embalažo. Toplo priporočam!

AVON NATURALS HYDRATING PEACH AND COTTON FACE CREAM. A regular hydrating face cream, suitable for normal to mixed skin. I was using it in the late summer and I liked it, it behaved well under foundation, it only bothers me that it doesn't have SPF. I can't use it anymore now, because my skin is really dry and this isn't hydrating enough. I got it for a little less than 4€. I would repurchase it again when the winter is over - if I don't find another one more interesting before.

Tale krema za obraz je bila prijetna, vendar nič posebnega. Nosila sem jo pozno poleti in začetek jeseni, sedaj mi ni več primerna, ker imam preveč suho kožo - primerna je bolj za normalno do mešano. Lepo se je obnašala pod pudrom, mogoče jo bom spet kupila na pomlad, če ne najdem kakšne bolj zanimive prej.

HAND PRODUCTS

MAYBELLINE GENTLE NAIL POLISH REMOVER. My favorite nail polish remover. It is suitable for weak nails, which makes me like it even more. It is not the cheapest, but it is worth it. I don't think it makes glitter removal any easier than any other remover, sadly, you have to work to get it off just as much as with any other. But as far as regular polish goes, I can tell the difference - it works better and faster.

Moj najljubši odstranjevalec laka, pa še za šibke nohte je. Koliko res pomaga ne vem, je pa dober trik, da si prepričana, da manj škoduješ svojim nohtom, ker je brez acetona. Nisem opazila, da bi bleščice kaj hitreje odstranjeval kot kateri koli drug lak, sem pa opazila, da navaden lak hitreje in temeljiteje odstrani kot pa recimo veliko cenejši aceton Balee ali pa Ebelina.

BALEA WINTER HAND CREAM FOR EXTREMELY DRY HANDS. I am so 'meh' about this hand cream. It helps with dry skin, really does, but it just doesn't soak in and it makes your hands so sticky! So it is not appropriate for on-the-go, I only used it before I went to sleep. It claims to be perfume free, but it has that typical medical scent - not very pleasant. I would not repurchase it.

Ta krema za roke mi je 'povzročala probleme'. Res pomaga proti suhi koži, vendar se nikakor ne vpije in naredi tak čuden filter na koži. Uporabljala sem jo samo pred spanjem, ker za drugje ni primerna. Ne bi je ponovno kupila. Naj bi bila brez parfumov, vendar ima vseeno tak umeten in neprijeten vonj. Drugih izkušenj z Baleinimi kremami za roke pa nimam.

NAIL POLISH

CHINA GLAZE - WANT MY BAWDY

MAYBELLINE - SALON GROWTH SERUM

OPI LIQUID SAND - STAY THE NIGHT

I am throwing the China Glaze and OPI polish away because they are old and dried out, I liked them both, they were very good quality and I had them forever. The Maybelline polish should be a growth serum, but it did completely nothing for me, so I am throwing it away.

China Glaze in OPI lak sta oba stara in posušena, zato se jih bom znebila, vendar sem oba porabila do dna in bila sta zelo kvalitetna laka, zelo sem bila zadovoljna z njima. Maybelline lak pa je bil totalno razočaranje, naj bi bil serum za utrjevanje in rast nohtov, vendar ni imel popolnoma nobenih koristnih učinkov, žal.

MAKE-UP

MANHATTAN SOFT MATTE LOOSE POWDER. Used to be my favorite face powder, I am throwing it away because it is about 5 years old, so...yeah..it was about time. I have a new favorite now, but this used to perform great, it made my skin matte for almost the whole day and was not like a mask on my skin.

To je bil včasih moj najljuši puder, mečem ga stran, ker je že zelo zelo star. Plus, našla sem nov najljubši puder. Sicer je pa bil tale precej kvaliteten, ni naredil umetnega videza in obdržal je mat kožo skoraj cel dan. Mislim, da je dan danes na trgu zelo veliko pudrov v prahu s takim učinkom, zato ni tale nič posebnega.

GARNIER BB CREAM. I am sure you already heard about this product, it was pretty hyped a year ago or so. I was using it in the summer, I can't use it anymore because it got old and looks orange on my face. It was a good BB cream, had nice coverage, had a light feeling on my skin and lasted quite good through the summer days. I would recommend it to anyone, who needs a light to medium coverage and is not too fair.

Gotovo ste že slišale za to BB kremo, najbrž jo imate tudi doma. Uporabljala sem jo poleti in bila mi je zelo všeč, vendar je postala 'stara' in na moji koži izgleda oranžno, tako da je ne morem več uporabljati. Sem pa bila zadovoljna, lepo je izenačila polt in naredila lahek občutek na koži. Priporočila bi jo vsem, ki iščete tak učinek in nimate presvetle polti, saj je tudi najsvetlejši odtenek precej temen.
